We had a wonderful Thanksgiving my husband and I enjoyed our grandkids so much and family time. I have had a medical problem for almost 4 years now. It's been a tough road for me as well as for my family and they have always been there. My son is my special gift and god must have known I would need him to help me. My son is my best friend and always will be. Our daughter-in-law is a wonderful person and we love her with all our hearts. My husband is my strength that I need when I am down and he does his best to make life better for us. Believe it or not he is my shopper! he does all the shopping from food to anything we need and he is very good at it. So I am so thankful for my family and what a better time to say thank you then on Thanksgiving! I count my blessing every day!

Joyce I would like to also Thank You for all your help. You do have a special gift with people and that is called caring. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge with all of us.

Happy Thanksgiving,
Ron and Patrice Thompson

It is 5:50AM on Nov.29, 2009 and I am finally getting around to reading my email after a busy and blessed Thanksgiving. Joyce, thank you for treating us like "family" through your words of wisdom, trainings, personal insights and good advice. Thanksgiving is a time that we can assess where we have been and where we may need to go in our business endeavors and personal lives. During these trying economic times we still have so much to be thankful for. (Yes, it could be worse!) I have found that happiness and contentment often comes when we are just thankful for the "little" things that we often take for granted. Best wishes to all during this holiday season.

Thank you Julie for that lovely comment. It is very true, we cannot be happy all of the time. We actually need to face unhappiness and frustration at times to make us realize and be thankful for the happy times. It definitely could be worse!!

When I was little, my wish was for my share of happiness - not happy all the time because I realized even then that that was an unrealistic expectation, but my fair share. And I can report that I have indeed had my fair share. So, for that I am truly grateful. Be thankful for what you have because things could be worse.
